This book is great fun. Dedicated to Theodore Roosevelt. Some of the worst rhymes ever contrived with an occasional flash of brilliance. Reflects life in the Canal Zone at the time of construction. The excitement of the challenge, the circumstances of the life there. This copy with a gift inscription c1907. The late author who died in 1906 was an official for the Panamanian Railway.
