Theodore Roosevelt Plaque; Aggressive Fighting For The Right Is The Noblest Sport The World Affords

New York: Decorative Arts League, 1920. First appearance. A bronze plaque measuring 12.75" x 10". Signed in the plate top right "Fraser 1920". Theodore Roosevelt appears in a bust profile with the legend, "Aggressive Fighting For The Right...." in raised letters across the bottom of the placque. Done to commemorate the life and spirit of TR just after his death in 1919. There are two versions of this piece to facilitate display. This plaque has a strong wire across the back so it may be hung. There is another version with four pre-drilled holes in the corners to allow mounting to a wall with lag bolts. Very good. Item #13296

A handsome and often sought after piece in the world of Theodore Roosevelt collectibles.

Price: $495.00
