Irwin was an American journalist and humorist, born in Oneida, NY, in 1876. He worked for the New York Globe and Collier's Weekly and would later write The Teddysee. This book has poems dealing with the Portsmouth Peace Conference, Sagamore Hill, TR's effort to save football and the Panama Canal. A great addition to any TR collection!
