Hagedorn is most remembered as a friend and confidant of Theodore Roosevelt. He served with the Roosevelt Memorial Association after TR's death and wrote Roosevelt in the Bad Lands, the first publication of the Roosevelt Memorial Association. He wrote several books of history as well. This volume contains "The Cobbler of Glenmorgan" a haunting verse tale of a deal with death.
